Plate Tax Press

I spent a month talking to over 2,000 people regarding the plate tax and collecting signatures to get it on the ballot.  We got it on the ballot and it was defeated in November.

Income Tax Credit Press

I spent a month collecting signatures and talking to people about the income tax credit.  Almost everyone I spoke to had either a family member or spouse affected by the income tax credit issue.  We got the required signatures but the mayor vetoed the issue so it never made it to the ballot.

Pride Week

I was on the planning committee and compiled a list of every project in the city to be posted on the city website so citizens could join projects already organized.  I also organized a project in my neighborhood and cleaned up a vacant lot on my street with the help of my neighbors, the Carters.
